Plants Extraction | TIERMAX

Plants Extraction

TiERMAX providing plant extraction system and the equipment for continuous and batch recovery of essential oils, oleoresins, aromas, natural extracts and proteins. Extraction plant is a method that tries to extract certain components found in plants from their natural environment. The majority of extraction process will be done in order by liquid-liquid extraction, solid-liquid extraction, liquid-gas extraction and steam distillation.

Production and product changeovers are made easier by the extraction system’s easy raw material discharge and quick cleanability.

TiERMAX is pleased to help you in any way possible with the extraction process. A pilot extraction and evaporation plant in our partner’s test centre allows us to conduct product development with and for you, conducting experiments with your chosen materials and conditions, and then scaling this process up to tailor-made production equipment. Get in touch with us to learn more about all the plants extraction possibilities.

TYPICAL EXTRACTION METHODS:

Ethanol Extraction:

This extraction procedure is quick and requires a low solvent-to-feed ratio. While ethanol extraction can be carried out at ambient temperature, many companies are carried out at extremely low temperatures.

Liquid butane Extraction:

Liquid Butane extraction are one of the most efficient methods in cannabis and food industry to producing cannabis concentrates, canola or corn oil. The outgassing or vacuum purge process is then utilized to remove the Butane left over from the extraction.

Supercritical CO2 Extraction:

CO2 extraction is a process that uses pressurised carbon dioxide at a certain temperature and pressure to get the compounds you want to make.

PLANTS EXTRACTION DEFINITION:

A plant extract is a substance that is obtained through an extraction and separation process that utilises plants as raw materials.

Most of the time, the original parts of the plants aren’t changed in plant extraction process. It can also be used to make the powder or granular products have good fluidity and resistance to moisture. Excipients can also be used in some cases. There are also a few liquid or oily plant extract products, but they are very small.

Plant extracts can be classified based on their extraction processing and quality. They are subdivided into solid extracts, liquid extracts, and soft extracts based on products form too.

Typical application of plant extracts:

There are many different ways that plant extracts can be used, from natural pigments and sweeteners to plant extracts from traditional medicine and plant essential oils that are used in food, additive, APIs and cosmetics to make things like toothpaste and shampoo.

Natural coloring extraction:

Raw materials such as fruits, roots, leaves, and flowers are used, to produce make organic compounds through extraction, refining, and drying process. Plant extract natural pigments are the name given to this type of organic material.

Natural sweetener extraction:

Natural sweeteners are products made by extracting and processing natural-synthetic sweet components from natural plants. Low-intensity sweeteners include sucrose and beet sugar, whereas high-intensity sweeteners include steviol glycosides, licorice extracts, and neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, as well as licorice extracts.
