High-Pressure Valve

Reliable Bulk Material Handling Under Pressure and Vacuum

TIERMAX High-Pressure Valves are engineered for reliable feeding, discharge, metering, and isolation of bulk solids in pressurized and vacuum process systems. Robust construction and application-specific sealing technologies help maintain process pressure while providing dependable material flow.

Available configurations include high-pressure rotary valves for continuous material transfer and pressure/vacuum isolation valves for secure shut-off. Designs can be customized according to operating pressure, temperature, bulk material characteristics, required capacity, and process conditions.

High-Pressure Rotary Valve

The High-Pressure Rotary Valve is designed for controlled dosing, feeding, and discharging of bulk solids in pressurized or vacuum systems. Its heavy-duty housing and application-specific rotor and sealing arrangement allow material to pass continuously while limiting pressure and air leakage between process zones.

Depending on the application, the valve can be configured with wear-resistant components, zero-gap arrangements, heating or cooling systems, leakage-air collection, and pressure-shock-resistant construction. The system can be configured for operating pressures ranging from approximately 40 mbar absolute up to 30 bar, with available sizes and capacities varying significantly depending on the specific design and application requirements.

High-Pressure Isolation Valve

High-Pressure Isolation Valves provide secure shut-off between process sections operating under pressure or vacuum. Specialized sealing systems can provide tight isolation while protecting sealing surfaces from direct contact and wear during valve movement.

Depending on the selected design, configurations are available for frequent operating cycles, rapid opening and closing, pressure/vacuum service, special materials, non-stick coatings, and hazardous-area applications. High-Pressure Isolation Valves, for example, can provide pressure-tight operation up to 6 bar absolute and vacuum-tight performance down to 2 mbar absolute, with sizes available up to DN500.
