Complete Fertilizer Processing & Packaging Solution
A fully integrated fertilizer production and packaging plant demonstrates how multiple process stages can be combined into one coordinated system - from Big Bag unloading and dosing to mixing, packaging, palletizing, and wrapping.
The solution was developed by MF TECNO, TIERMAX’s technology partner for packaging and palletizing systems, to provide accurate formulation, automated material handling, and reliable end-of-line operation.
The Challenge
The application required a complete system capable of accurately dosing and blending four different fertilizer products according to specific formulations.
In addition to consistent mixing, the plant needed automated product transfer, reliable bag filling and sealing, and fully integrated palletizing and wrapping with minimal manual handling.
An Integrated Solution from Big Bag to Finished Pallet
The complete plant combines:
- 4 Bulk Bag Dischargers
- Load-cell-based dosing system for accurate formulation
- High-speed single-shaft mixer for consistent and fast blending
- Bucket elevator for automatic product transfer
- FFS tubular bagging system with double sealing
- Automatic palletizer
- Automatic pallet wrapper
All stages work as one coordinated process, allowing the production line to be monitored and controlled as an integrated system.
Automated Packaging & Palletizing
After mixing, the fertilizer is automatically transferred to the packaging section.
The FFS packaging system forms, fills, and seals the bags. A double-sealing system provides reliable bag closure, particularly important when handling demanding chemical products.
Filled bags are automatically conveyed to the palletizer, arranged according to the required pallet pattern, and transferred to the wrapping system for preparation for storage and shipment.
The Result
The integrated plant provides a complete process from raw material handling to finished pallet, with production capacity of up to 22,000 lb/h (approximately 10,000 kg/h).
